Monday NBA Playoffs Odds
(The Spread) – A dominating first half in Game 3 allowed the Dallas Mavericks to take a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals over the Oklahoma City Thunder. How will Monday night’s Game 4 shape up?
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made the host Thunder a 3.5-point favorite over the Mavericks in Game 4 and the over-under is listed at 195.5. Game time is slated for 9:00PM EST.
It was an incredible first half for Dallas Saturday night as it jumped out to a 27-12 lead through one quarter and continued to stay ahead 70-56 heading into the fourth quarter. Oklahoma City eventually made a final push but the Mavericks held on for a 93-87 victory that was never in serious doubt.
Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion paced a balanced Dallas offense with 18 points apiece, while Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook poured in a game-high 30 points but also had seven turnovers.
According to the latest NBA trends, Oklahoma City is 8-5 against the spread versus Dallas over the last three seasons but the Mavericks are 8-5 straight up in those matchups. Seven of 13 games in this series have gone over the total during the last three seasons.
