Updated NBA West Odds
(TheSpread) – The Western Conference is down to four very strong teams. Which one will emerge as the conference champion? Here is a breakdown of the latest odds.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the San Antonio Spurs are the favorites to come out of the West, as they have 11/10 odds. Other short odds to win are the Oklahoma City Thunder (9/5), the Los Angeles Clippers (7/2) and the Portland Trail Blazers (13/2).
The Spurs are the top seed in the West and they were able to reach the second round by beating the Dallas Mavericks in seven games. San Antonio is the defending conference champ and the Spurs will face the Blazers in the second round.
Oklahoma City is the No. 2 seed in the West. The Thunder defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in seven games in the opening round as well and will now face the Clippers in the second round.
The Clippers dealt with a lot of distractions away from the court in the first round, but they still were able to beat the Golden State Warriors in seven games. Los Angeles is the third seed in the West.
Portland was the lone team to not go to seven games in the West, beating the Houston Rockets in six games thanks to a buzzer-beater in the final game. The Blazers are the No. 5 seed in the West.
