Bulls vs. Cavaliers Series Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The Cleveland Cavaliers may have their hands full when their series with the Chicago Bulls starts tomorrow. Here’s a look at the odds for this best-of-seven.
Cleveland is the second seed in the Eastern Conference and now has a record of 57-29 overall and 42-44 against the spread. The Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics in four games to open the playoffs. Chicago is the third seed in the East. The Bulls are 54-34 overall and 43-45 against the spread. Chicago needed six games to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. The Cavaliers will have the home-court advantage in the series.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cavaliers are favored in this contest, as they are getting odds of -220 to win, while the Bulls are getting odds of +185 to prevail. Game 1 of this series will take place on Monday at 7PM ET.
These two teams met four times during the regular season and Cleveland won three of the four meetings while each team covered the spread twice. These two also split the over/under in four meetings. One key to the series could be Cleveland being without Kevin Love for the playoffs due to a shoulder injury suffered in Game 4 against Boston. Guard J.R. Smith will miss the first two games because of a suspension from Game 4 in Boston.
