Wizards vs. Raptors Gm 2 Odds
TORONTO (TheSpread) – The Toronto Raptors probably can’t afford another home loss in Game 2 when they host the Washington Wizards tonight at 8PM ET.
Toronto is now 49-34 on the season, 27-15 at home and 37-45 against the spread. Washington is 47-36 overall, 18-24 on the road and 34-46 against the spread. Washington picked up an OT win in Game 1 on Saturday, ending a three-game losing streak to the Raptors. Toronto has taken seven of its last nine against Washington, going 6-3 against the spread in that stretch. These two have hit the under in seven of their last nine meetings.
According to the latest oddsmakers, the Raptors are favored to claim Game 2, as they are getting odds of -5 points against the Wizards. The over/under total for the game has been set at 191.5 points.
The Wizards were in control for most of Game 1, but the Raptors rallied with a 26-17 fourth quarter to force overtime. However, Washington regrouped and dominated the extra session. Paul Pierce backed up his pre-series trash talk by scoring 20 points to lead Washington while Nene Hilario had 12 points and 13 rebounds. Toronto had four bench players score in double figures, led by Amir Johnson, who had a team-high 18 points off the bench.
