Spurs vs. Clippers Game 1 Odds
LOS ANGELES (TheSpread) – The most anticipated first-round series in the NBA Playoffs gets started tonight at 10:30PM ET when the Los Angeles Clippers host the San Antonio Spurs.
Los Angeles is 56-26 on the season, 30-11 at home and 37-44 against the spread. San Antonio is 55-27 overall, 22-19 on the road and 41-39 against the spread. These two met four times during the regular season and each team won twice, once at home and once on the road. The Spurs have won six of their last nine against the Clippers, going 5-4 against the spread in those nine games. These two have hit the over in seven of their last nine meetings.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Clippers are the slim favorite in Game 1, as they are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Spurs. The over/under total for the game has been set at 206 points.
San Antonio is coming off a loss to the Pelicans to end the season, but the Spurs had won nine straight prior to that. However, San Antonio has failed to cover in three straight and it has hit the over in three of its last four games. The Clippers are on a hot streak, having won seven straight entering today’s game. The Clippers, however, are 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four while hitting the under in five of their last six games.
