(The Spread) – There are nine games on the schedule in the NBA Sunday including a battle between the struggling New York Knicks and the host Milwaukee Bucks.
New York comes into action Sunday sporting a 35-33 overall record and they are 16-19 in road games. Milwaukee is 27-41 overall, but 18-17 when playing at home. Action begins at 3:00PM EST.
Oddsmakers and online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Bucks a 1-point favorite, while the over-under is set at 197.5. According to the latest trends, the road team is 8-3 against the spread in the last 11 meetings. The underdog is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings. The Knicks are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The Bucks are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games.
New York is 5-5 in its last 10 and lost 99-95 at Detroit Friday in its last time on the court. Milwaukee is also 5-5 in its previous 10 contests, but are coming off a 110-95 home victory Friday over New Jersey.
Brandon Jennings paces the Bucks at 15.9 points per game, while Carmelo Anthony is scoring 24.6 points per contest in 14 games since joining the Knicks. Anthony had his worst outing with his new team in the loss to Detroit as he finished with just six points.
Elsewhere in the NBA, the Atlanta Hawks host the Detroit Pistons at 2:00PM EST. The Hawks are 7-point favorites, while the over-under is 190. Oklahoma City entertains Toronto at 7:00PM EST. The Thunde are 12.5-point favorites with an over-under of 210. Dallas is a 9.5-point home favorite against Golden State at 7:30PM EST, while the over-under is set at 213.
