Cavs seek 11th straight win tonight
CLEVELAND, OH (TheSpread) – The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to win their 11th straight game tonight, and are facing one of the league’s worst to do so. How big of a favorite are they against the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at 7PM ET?
Cleveland is 29-20 on the season, 17-9 at home and 22-27 against the spread. Philadelphia is 10-38 overall, 5-20 on the road and 23-24-1 against the spread. Cleveland has won three of its last four against Philadelphia, but the 76ers won the lone meeting this season, 95-92 back on Jan. 5. The 76ers have also covered the spread in five of their last seven against the Cavaliers. These two have hit the under in eight of their last nine meetings.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Cavaliers are the heavy favorite to win today, as they are getting odds of -16 points against the 76ers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 193 points.
Cleveland has won its last 10 and the Cavs are 9-1 against the spread in this 10-game win streak. They have covered in their last six at home and have hit the under in their last five games. Philadelphia is coming off a loss, but the 76ers have covered the spread in three straight and they are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six. However, they are just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five on the road while hitting the under in seven of their last eight games.
