FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -Kevin Harvick’s NASCAR Nationwide Series team is adding a second full-time car that will be driven by Elliott Sadler.
Harvick announced Friday that Sadler will drive a Chevrolet sponsored by CitiFinancial under a multiyear deal. CitiFinancial will be the primary sponsor for 29 Nationwide races next season with Sadler and one race with Harvick.
The new deal includes select races in the NASCAR trucks series, beginning with the season-ending race at Homestead in two weeks.
The 35-year-old Sadler, who made his NASCAR debut in the Nationwide Series in 1995, won a truck race in a Harvick truck at Pocono in July. He also won a pole and finished third for Harvick’s team in a Nationwide race at Bristol in August.
