CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Defending NASCAR champion Brad Keselowski heads to Kentucky Speedway this weekend looking to snap out of the season-long slump his No. 2 Penske Racing team has been stuck in since winning the Sprint Cup title. By Auto Racing Writer Jenna Fryer.
LONDON - With the controversy over Mercedes' in-season testing settled, the focus shifts to the British Grand Prix and three-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel's bid to win yet another title. Coming off a dominant performance at the Canadian Grand Prix in which he beat Ferrari's Fernando Alonso by 14 seconds, Vettel has shaken off some early season headaches with tires and shown that his Red Bull has the pace to dominate. By Michael Casey.
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. -- AJ Allmendinger would have understood if he never heard from team owner Roger Penske again. So he was grateful that Penske kept in touch after his suspension under NASCAR's substance abuse policy last year - and floored when Penske gave him a second chance to drive in a handful of races for him this season. After winning Saturday's Nationwide race for Penske, Allmendinger hopes to prove he's once again worthy of a full-time ride. By Chris Jenkins.
DES MOINES, Iowa - Sage Karam once tried to run a dozen miles home to blow off steam after losing a grueling wrestling match - and he made it halfway before his father tracked him down. That kind of tenacity and over-the-top competitiveness is common in wrestling, and Karam has brought both to his true passion; auto racing. He's won the last two races in the Indy Lights feeder series and is suddenly the favorite to win the title. By Luke Meredith.
