Kurt Busch wins at MIS
BROOKLYN, MI (TheSpread) – Kurt Busch earned his second win of the 2015 NASCAR season as he claimed the victory in the rain-shortened Quicken Loans 400.
Rain was an issue all day at Michigan International Speedway, as it delayed the race on multiple occasions before finally putting an end to the race 138 laps into the schedule 200-lap event. When the final caution came out, it was Kurt Busch that was just ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the victory.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Busch came into this week with 8/1 odds to win, which means that a wager of $100 on him to prevail will payout an additional $800.
Kevin Harvick had a strong car once again, as he led the most laps of any driver, but a tire issue near the end of the race ended up putting him 29th when it came to an end. He still has the points lead by 15 on the field, but Martin Truex Jr. moved much closer after placing third on Sunday.
