DETROIT (AP) -Chicago White Sox’ right fielder Jermaine Dye left Tuesday night’s game against the Detroit Tigers after the fourth inning because of a strained left quadriceps, and was listed as day-to-day.
Dye was 1-for-2 with a double before being replaced by Darin Erstad in the field in the bottom of the fifth.
Dye was hitting .247 with 26 homers and 67 RBIs.
