SAN DIEGO (AP) -Giants starter Noah Lowry left Sunday's start against San Diego because of tightness in his left forearm.
Three innings later, San Diego starter Justin Germano left after getting hit on the right thumb by Pedro Feliz's comebacker.
Lowry allowed one run and two hits in three innings, struck out one and walked three.
He was replaced by Jack Taschner to start the fourth with the game tied at 1.
With two outs in the sixth, Germano threw out Feliz, then motioned for the trainer to come out. He was replaced by Doug Brocail.
Germano allowed two runs and two hits in 5 2-3 innings, struck out three and walked two.
