SAN DIEGO (AP) -Barry Bonds struck out looking in the first inning against the San Diego Padres on Friday night, leaving him at 754 home runs and one from tying Hank Aaron's record.
Bonds has eight career home runs against Padres starter Greg Maddux, the last on May 1, 1998.
