ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -The Seattle Mariners recalled left-hander Ryan Feierabend from Triple-A Tacoma to start the first game of a doubleheader at Texas.
Seattle optioned left-hander Ryan Rowland-Smith to Tacoma to make room on the 25-man roster.
Feierabend was 0-2 with a 15.23 ERA (22 earned runs in 13 innings) over his last four starts with Seattle before being sent to Tacoma. Rowland-Smith had 14 strikeouts in 10 2-3 innings over seven appearances in his second stint with the Mariners this season.
