PHOENIX (AP) -The Arizona Diamondbacks activated catcher Chris Snyder from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.
Snyder missed 14 games with a left testicular fracture and played one minor-league game on a rehab assignment, going 2-for-5 with a run scored for Class A Visalia at Stockton.
Snyder, who was hitting .246 with seven homers and 33 RBIs in 64 games, was in the starting lineup Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
To make room for Snyder, the Diamondbacks optioned catcher-infielder Robby Hammock to Tucson. Hammock was 3-for-19 in six games during his second stint in the majors this season.
