BOSTON (AP) -The Kansas City Royals recalled righty Leo Nunez from Triple-A Omaha to make his first major league start in Tuesday night's game against the Boston Red Sox.
Lefty Neal Musser, who was called up from Omaha on Monday, was optioned back to Triple-A to make room on the roster for Nunez.
Nunez made seven appearances for the Royals last year, with no decisions and a 4.73 ERA.
