NEW YORK (AP) -Yankees catcher Jorge Posada is back in the starting lineup after missing time with a sore left thumb. Posada was hit by a foul ball in Wednesday night's 4-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. He struck out as a pinch hitter Thursday and sat out Friday's 4-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Posada is batting sixth for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays. He enters with a .267 batting average, 10 homers and 33 RBIs. |
