KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Chicago White Sox left fielder Scott Podsednik left the game against Kansas City on Saturday after the top of the first inning with what the club said was a strained left rib muscle.
Batting leadoff, Podsednik hit a ball to the warning track in right field. There was no immediate indication how seriously he might be hurt.
