CINCINNATI (AP) -The Reds obtained left-hander Ben Jukich from the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night, completing their trade of April 27.
Oakland got outfielder Chris Denorfia from the Reds for two players to be named. Right-hander Marcus McBeth went to Cincinnati on April 28 as one of those players.
The 24-year-old Jukich was a 13th-round pick in the 2006 amateur draft. He was 3-4 in 12 starts for Class A Stockton this season with a 5.40 ERA and will pitch for the Reds' Sarasota club in the Florida State League.
