CHICAGO (AP) -The Chicago White Sox optioned left-handed reliever Andrew Sisco to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday after an 11-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
The White Sox will also put utilityman Pablo Ozuna on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured right fibula and torn deltoid ligament in his ankle.
Ozuna injured himself rounding first base awkwardly on a leadoff double in the first. He has played in 27 games this season and is hitting .244.
A team spokesman said the White Sox will make a corresponding moves on Monday before their game against the Twins in Minneapolis.
Sisco, who is 0-1 on the season, gave up three runs and three hits in one inning of relief duty on Sunday. He had a 3.38 ERA in April, but after struggling in May it has ballooned to 8.36.
