SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Chicago Cubs pitcher Wade Miller allowed seven hits and three runs Tuesday in a rehab start for the team's Double-A affiliate. Miller, out since April 23 with back spasms, gave up two walks and struck out one in 5 2-3 innings. The Tennessee Smokies rallied to beat the Chattanooga Lookouts 6-4. He held the Lookouts to one run through five innings but got into trouble in the sixth, giving up two runs to put Chattanooga ahead 3-1. Of his 86 pitches, 52 were for strikes, Smokies officials said. |
