A look at what’s happening around spring training in Florida and Arizona on Friday:

GETTING CLOSER
Mets ace Matt Harvey aims for another sharp start when he faces St. Louis in Jupiter, Florida. He pitched two-hit ball for 5 2-3 shutout innings against the Yankees in his previous outing. Harvey missed last season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.
ROYAL WATCH
Kansas City opening day starter Yordano Ventura tries to improve on his 10.29 ERA this spring when he pitches vs. Seattle at night in Surprise, Arizona.
WHAT’S WRONG?
More than a week after the Brewers thought they’d gotten rid of pink eye cases in their clubhouse, outfielder Shane Peterson showed up with both eye affected. Milwaukee manager Ron Roenicke says the team can’t figure out why the annoying and contagious condition keeps coming back.
SO LONG
The Braves won’t have catcher John Buck in camp anymore. The 34-year-old announced his retirement after hitting .320 this spring. An All-Star in 2010, Buck hit 134 home runs in an 11-year career with seven teams.
