The New York Yankees are looking more and more banged up every day, with an assortment of ailments slowing them in spring training. Alex Rodriguez was already out until at least the All-Star break, and recent injuries to outfielder Curtis Granderson and first baseman Mark Teixeira have sidelined them past opening day. Reliever David Robertson has a sore shoulder after sleeping on it the wrong way. And the topper came earlier this week when even general manager Brian Cashman got hurt, breaking a leg while skydiving in Florida. It's no wonder that their 3-10 record in exhibition play is the worst in the American League. |
