PHOENIX (AP) -Andre Ethier has agreed to a $3.1 million, one-year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers after an arbitration hearing was delayed so the sides could continue to negotiate.
Ethier batted .305 with 20 homers and 77 RBIs last year. He had been asking $3.75 million for this year and the Dodgers offered $2.65 million.
The 26-year-old outfielder can earn $75,000 in performance bonuses – $25,000 each for 596, 625 and 650 plate appearances.
