In the main event, Pettis (11-1) is the favorite to win according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Bodog with odds of -175 while Clay Guida (28-8) has odds of +145. Pettis is making his UFC debut after closing out the WEC organization as its lightweight champion. Guida is one of the top contenders in the UFC, but he has struggled with some of the elite fighters in the division and has typically had trouble with grapplers more than strikers. Pettis is a dynamic striker with improving grappling skills.
