UFC 130 Results & Recap
The two squared off in the main event of UFC 130 and Jackson, the former light heavyweight champion, was able to keep the fight standing the entire time. Hamill expected to be able to get the fight to the ground but each of his takedown attempts were stuffed.
According to online sportsbook Bodog.com Jackson was the favorite with odds of -275, meaning a wager of $275 on Jackson will pay out an additional $100.
In the co-main event Frank Mir picked up a decision win over Roy Nelson. Both fighters traded strikes in the first round but a judo throw from Mir likely earned him the first round. In the second round, Mir worked in takedowns on Nelson, who showed signs of fatigue. In the third, Nelson has little energy to do much more but still lasted the full 15 minutes. Mir came into the fight with odds of -140, meaning a $140 wager on Mir will pay out an additional $100.
