Guillard KO's Dunham
KILEEN, TX (TheSpread) – In a bit of an upset, UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard knocked out Evan Dunham in the first round of their main event bout at UFC Fight For The Troops 2 on Saturday. Guillard came out quickly and utilized his quick hands to stun Dunham, who left himself too open. After a variety of big punches landed, Guillard mixed in some knees to finish the fight. Guillard had odds of +185 to win according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com, so a wager of $100 on Guillard will pay out an additional $185. In the co-main event, Matt Mitrione scored a first round TKO of Tim Hague. Like Guillard, Mitrione didn’t waste much time, landing some big kicks and punches early before hitting a straight right that floored Hague. Mitrione quickly jumped on Hague and finished with a barrage of fists. Mitrione had a betting line of -280 to win. For complete main card results from the event, see below.
