(The Spread) - The 87th Miss America pageant will be held at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 15. Let's check out the opening odds.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Miss Florida is the favorite at 13/2 while Miss Connecticut, Miss New Jersey and Miss Virginia have the next best odds at 12/1, respectively. Miss Alabama, Miss Ohio, Miss South Carolina and Miss Utah, meanwhile, are all 15/1, respectively to win this year's pageant.

Continuing with the odds, Miss Oklahoma and Miss Texas are both 20/1, respectively, while Miss Illinois and Miss Oregon are 25/1, respectively. Miss California, Miss Louisiana, Miss Michigan, Miss Minnesota and Miss Nevada are all 30/1, respectively.

Miss New Hampshire and Miss Kentucky are both 33/1, resopectively, while Miss Tennessee is 35/1. Miss Delaware and Miss District of Columbia are 40/1, respectively, while Miss Arizona, Miss Maine, Miss New Mexico, Miss Vermont and Miss Wisconsin are 45/1, respectively. Miss Idaho, Miss Massachusetts, Miss New York, Miss North Carolina, Miss North Dakota, Miss Rhode Island, Miss Washington and Miss West Virginia are all 55/1, respectively.

Miss California, Miss Ohio and Miss Oklahoma have all won the Miss America pageant six times apiece, which is the most in the event's history. Miss Illinois, Miss Michigan and Miss Pennsylvania have all won five times. Miss Mississippi and Miss New York have both won four times apiece.

Miss Connecticut, Miss Georgia, Miss Indiana, Miss Kentucky, Miss Missouri, Miss Nebraska, Miss North Carolina and Miss Oregon have all won once apiece. Miss Wisconsin, Miss Nebraska and Miss Virginia were the last three winners of the Miss America pageant.
