According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Alvin Gentry and Brian Shaw are the current favorites to become the next head coach of the Clippers at 3/1 odds, respectively. Lionel Hollins is 4/1, Byron Scott is 5/1 and Nate McMillan is 11/2. The two long shots are Stan and Jeff Van Gundy, who are both 10/1, respectively.
There are also separate odds for where Hollins will coach next year. The Grizzlies are favored at 6/5, while the Nets are 3/2 and the Clippers are 4/1. The Bucks are the long shots at 11/2.
The current reports are that the Bucks were interested in Hollins but apaprently the organization will stay focused on former Hawks head coach Larry Drew and Rockets assistant coach Kelvin Sampson. There are also reports that the Grizzlies will most likely not allow teams to contact Hollins until his contract is up on June 30.
