(The Spread) – The results of the 2013 NFL Draft did not have a huge impact on the odds to win the 2014 Super Bowl, as the San Francisco 49ers remain favored.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the 49ers are 6/1 favorites to win this season’s Super Bowl, while Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos have the next best odds at 15/2. The New England Patriots (8/1), Seattle Seahawks (9/1) and Atlanta Falcons (12/1) round out the top 5, although the Green Bay Packers are also 12/1 to win.
Continuing with the odds, the Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints are both 18/1 to win the 2014 Super Bowl, while the defending champion Baltimore Ravens and 2012 Super Bowl champ New York Giants are both 20/1, respectively. The Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers are both 25/1, respectively.
Some of the mid-range long shots include the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, who are both 28/1 to win the 2014 Super Bowl, respectively. Their NFC East rival the Philadelphia Eagles are 30/1, while the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts are both 35/1, respectively. The Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all 40/1, respectively.
The long shots including the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs, who are 50/1, as well as the St. Louis Rams, who are 60/1. The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets are both 75/1, respectively, while the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans are all 100/1, respectively, to win the Super Bowl. The Jacksonville Jaguars currently have the worst odds at 200/1.
