Updated SB XLIII Odds
The 2008 NFL Regular Season is in the books and now teams set their sites on Super Bowl XLIII with the playoffs set to kickoff this weekend.
Oddsmakers have released updated Super Bowl future odds, with the New York Giants being listed as 3/1 favorites.
No surprise, oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made defending champions the New York Giants 3/1 favorites to win Super Bowl XLIII. The favorite in the AFC is the Pittsburgh Steelers, whose odds are listed at 5/1.
The two long shots in each conference are the Arizona Cardinals at 40/1, and the Miami Dolphins at 25/1. The Vikings are also listed at 25/1. Before the start of the season, the Dolphins were listed at 250/1 to win the Super Bowl, while the Atlanta Falcons were listed at 200/1. (The Falcons are now 20/1 long shots to win Super Bowl XLIII.)
The No. 1 seed in the AFC belongs to the Tennessee Titans, who are listed right behind the Steelers at 6/1 odds to win. The No. 2 seed in the NFC, the Carolina Panthers, are listed at 5/1 to win Super Bowl XLIII, which is right behind the Giants at 3/1.
