1- Anton Lundell

Finnish hockey is seeing great progress in recent years as they are producing some very good players. Anton Lundell, who plays as a center, is one of the top prospects for the 2020 NHL draft.

In January, he helped his team win the World Junior gold medal by putting up 4 points in 7 games. He was once more a key figure at the IIHF Under 18s and put up 4 points in 5 games. In the SM Liiga, his figures of 9 goals and 19 points are also greatly impressive.

Lundell started playing ice hockey at the age of 4 and joined IFK Helsinki with whom he won the C-Junior Finnish Championship twice. He later signed a 3-year SM league contract with HIFK and made his debut against Italian HC Bolzano on September 6, 2018. He scored the first goal of his league career against the Mikkeli Jukurs in his 4th match.

Lundell describes himself as a two-way striker who creates goals for his team-mates and also for himself. He uses his body very well and is well-known for his lethal wrist shot. He is a hard-working hockey player who is always aware of what's happening around him. He always manages to be in the right spot at the right time.

Lundell possesses a very good speed but he needs to work on his agility and changes of direction. He is very good at creating spaces by using his speed and good stickhandling.

At 6-foot-1 and 183 pounds, Lundell probably doesn't look like a huge figure but he still plays a good physical game. He is very strong at the offensive but also does a decent job at defending as well.

His father Jan Lundell was also a hockey player and served as a goalie for a long time at IFK Helsinki. Lundell's younger brother Kasper also plays as a striker in HIFK's C-Youth.

2- Kasper Simontaival

Kasper Simontaival is the talented home production of Tappara's youth academy. He currently plays as a right-winger for Tappara and is one of the top prospects eligible for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

In the C-Junior SM qualifiers, he has the second-highest goal-scoring average record, only behind Teemu Pulkkinen. He rose through Tappara's youth ranks to make his league debut against Rauma Lukko on September 26, 2018. While in the Finnish U20 league, he put up 27 points in 27 games.

He is a good playmaker who possesses quick hands and great vision. He is not an imposing figure at 5'9, but his playmaking skills are very admirable.

3- Roni Hirvonen

Roni Hirvonen plays as a center and is one of the top prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft Entry. He is small but he is very skilled and creative. His vision to create passes for his teammates is excellent, however, his wrist shot does need a little improvement. Overall, his offensive instincts would endear him at anywhere he plays.
