Bobcats Season Odds
Can Larry Brown be a miracle worker and make the Charlotte Bobcats a winner this season? Oddsmakers established the Bobcats’ odds to win the 2009 NBA Finals at 100/1.
The biggest offseason addition the Bobcats made was hiring Larry Brown to become their new head coach. The team also re-signed Emeka Okafor, which was key because he is the team’s big man.
2008-2009 Season Outlook:
With Okafor, D.J. Augustin, Adam Morrison, Gerald Wallace and Ray Felton, Brown has more than enough to work with talent-wise. But he has to make these individual pieces ift together so that they can make a run.
Brown has been a miracle worker in the past so it’s not far-fetched to think that he can turn things around in just one season. But these players are going to have to respond in a hurry and Brown has to prove that he can survive the mental grind of another full NBA season.
