2010 Japenese Grand Prix Odds
The 2010 Formula 1 season heads to Suzuka, Japan this week for the running of the Japanese Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel is the favorite to win with 9/5 odds to win according to the online sports book SportsBook.com. Other short odds to win are Fernando Alonso (11/4), Mark Weber (7/2), and Lewis Hamilton (4/1). Vettel won this event last year and he has two wins in 2010.
Alonso and Hamilton are among past champions of this event, as is Michael Schumacher, who won the title in 2004, 2002, 2001, 2000, and 1997. Schumacher enters this year’s event with 125/1 odds to win.
Webber leads the current standings by 11 points over Alonso. Each has four wins on the season, most of any drivers. Hamilton is third in the standings, 20 points out of first. Hamilton has three wins this season. Last year’s series champion, Jenson Button is just fifth in the standings and without a win in 2010. Button has 11/1 odds to win this year’s event.
