Woods Wins FedEx Cup
Tiger Woods won the $10 million prize for taking first place in the 2009 FedEx Cup Standings, which concluded on Sunday.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Woods entered the FedEx Cup playoffs with 2/5 odds to win, meaning a $100 bet on Woods will pay out $40.
Woods entered the four-tournament playoffs in first place of Steve Stricker, and finished in first with 4,000 points following Sunday’s 2009 Tour Championship.
Phil Mickelson came in second with 2,920 points thanks to his win on Sunday. Mickelson took home $3 million for finishing second in the standings.
Sticker finished third with 2,750, taking home $2 million
