Woods is in command
The second round of the 2009 Tour Championship is complete and Tiger Woods holds a one shot lead on the field.
With his one-stroke lead over Padraig Harrington and Sean O’Hair, Woods is the overwhelming favorite to win.
Woods has odds of 8/15 to win according to the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Harrington (13/2), O’Hair (8/1), and Steve Stricker (20/1).
Woods shot a 2-under 68 on Friday to take the lead at 5-under for the tournament. Woods actually bogied the final hole of the day to fall to 5-under, but had four birdies on his round.
Harrington shot a 69 on Friday to finish at 4-under, tied with O’Hair. Harrington had three birdies and two bogies on the day, and finished his round with four-straight pars.
O’Hair led coming into Friday but shot an even par 70 for his second round. O’Hair was down to 2-under for the tournament with seven holes left on Friday, but birdies on the 15th and 16th holes allowed him to finish in second.
Stricker shot a +2 72 on Friday. Stricker is tied for 21st overall at +2 with Zach Johnson. Stricker had four bogies on his round.
