Deutsche Round 3 Odds
The second round of the 2009 Deutsche Bank Championship is in the books, and first round leader Jim Furyk finds himself still atop the leader board.
Furyk is tied with Sean O’Hair at 12-under for the championship, two shots ahead of Marc Leishman and Retief Goosen.
Furyk is now a 9/2 favorite to win according to the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are O’Hair (11/2), Tiger Woods (7/1), Goosen (10/1), and Padraig Harrington (10/1).
Furyk shot a 4-under 67 on Saturday, birding two of the final four holes to put himself in the lead with O’Hair.
O’Hair shot a 7-under 64 on the day to reach the lead. O’Hair had a stretch of eight holes that he played 8-under par.
Woods is tied for 28th overall at -5 for the tournament after shooting a 4-under 67 on Saturday. After shooting even on the front nine, Woods finished his round with a 4-under 31 on the back nine.
Goosen shot a 4-under 67 on Saturday and finished his round by birding two of the final three holes.
Harrington sits tied for 11th in the tournament at -8 after shooting his second-consecutive 4-under 67. Harrington birdied his final hole on the day after a shaky front nine where he posted a pair of bogies.
