Barclays Round 2 Odds

The first round of the 2009 Barclays is in the books and three golfers are tied for the lead, headlined by Sergio Garcia.

Garcia, Paul Goydos, and Steve Marino each shot a 6-under 65 on Thursday at Liberty National Golf Club to take the first round lead.

Tiger Woods shot a 1-under 70 on the day to finished tied for 27th, but is still favored to win the event according to updated odds. Woods is a 5/2 favorite to win according to the online sports book SPORTS BETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Garcia (9/2), Padraig Harrington (13/2), Marino (18/1), Ian Poulter (22/1), and David Toms (22/1).

Woods was one of 15 golfers to finish 1-under, including Phil Mickelson and Retief Goosen.

Garcia had just one bogey on the day and shot 4-under on the back nine to establish the lead.

Marino bogeyed the 18th hole in his opening round, keeping him from holding the outright lead heading into Friday.

Harrington shot a 4-under 67 on Thursday to finish tied for eighth, as did Poulter and Toms.
