General Information:

The Masters Tournament is the first of four major championships in professional golf, which is held annually during the first full week in April at the Augusta National Golf Club. Of the many traditions that center on the Masters, the green jacket (which is awarded to the winner of each tournament) is the most popular.

Jack Nicklaus has won more Masters Tournaments than any other golfer, claiming six victories between 1963 and 1986. Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods each have four wins apiece, while Gary Palmer (South Africa) became the first non-American player to win the tournament in 1961.
