According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Novak Djokovic is favored to win this tournament, as he has 1/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Roger Federer (2/1) and Andy Murray (4/1).

Djokovic is a one-time U.S. Open winner, claiming the title in 2011. He has won a total of seven grand slam events, including Wimbledon this year. He has reached the finals in the last four U.S. Opens.

Federer is a five-time winner of the U.S. Open with his last title coming in 2008. He has won a total of 17 grand slam events, but just one in the last four years. He did reach the Wimbledon final before losing to Djokovic, but has been in just three finals in his last 18 grand slam events.

Murray won this event in 2012 and is a two-time grand slam event winner. He has failed to reach the finals in his last four grand slam events.
