Women's All-Around Odds
The United States has the top three favorites to win gold at the Rio Summer Olympics in the Women’s Gymnastics All-Around event. Which one will take the honor?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, American Simone Biles is the favorite, as she has -300 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Americans Gabby Douglas (+500) and Aly Raisman (+600). The Rio Olympics continue today through August 21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Biles is the favorite to win gold in three of the individual events as well and is the leader of this year’s Team USA. She has won the World Championship in the all-around competition the last three years and is appearing in her first Olympics Games.
Douglas was part of the 2012 Olympics team that won the gold medal. She recently placed second at the 2015 World Championships in the all-around, finishing behind Biles.
Raisman also was part of the 2012 Olympic team that won gold. She also claimed a gold in the floor exercise and a bronze in the balance beam. She hasn’t medaled in the all-around for any of the World Championships leading up to this Olympics.
