The 2010 RBC Canadian Open golf tournament begins on Thursday and our team of writers and handicappers have three suggested plays for the tournament.

Bet the 2010 RBC Canadian Open

Paul Casey 16/1

After emerging as a potential winner in the British Open, Casey looks primed to really breakout as one of the world’s best golfers over the next year. Casey is seeking his first win of 2010 and with a rather weak field, he has to be someone to keep an eye on this weekend.

Tim Clark 25/1

Clark has been a steady golfer all year as he is sixth in the FedEx Cup standings. Clark has one win on the year and five top 10’s. Clark has missed just one cut in his last seven events, so look for him to be in contention on Sunday. At 25/1, Clark is a solid play.

Ricky Barnes 33/1

Barnes is another golfer that seems poised to really have a solid next 12 months. He has made his last six cuts, which includes three top 10’s in that span. For the year, he has six top 10’s and his recent string seems to have instilled some confidence in him. Look for Barnes to jump out early and hang around for the weekend.

The 2010 RBC Canadian Open will take place at St. George’s Golf & Country Club in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada and it starts on Thursday, July 22.
