Final Round Open Odds
The 2010 British Open Championship is down to its final round and Louis Oosthuizen still has a comfortable lead on the field.
After entering the third round with a five-shot lead, Oosthuizen shot a 3-under 69 on Saturday to finish at -15 for the tournament, four shots ahead of Paul Casey.
Oosthuzien is a 4/5 favorite to win according to oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Casey (9/4), Martin Kaymer (12/1), and Lee Westwood (14/1).
Oosthuizen bogied the first hole of his round, be he quickly regained composure and finished bogey-free on the final 17 holes while adding three birdies. Oosthuizen is seeking his first major championship victory on Sunday.
Casey shot a 5-under 67 on Saturday to jump to -11 for the tournament. Casey had a bogey-free round as he shot a 5-under 31 on the front nine and made par on every hole on the back nine. Casey is also seeking his first major championship.
Kaymer is seven shots off the lead at -8 for the tournament. He sits in third by himself after shooting a 68 on Saturday. Kaymer’s round featured six birdies and two bogies. He, like the other contenders, is searching for his first major championship.
Westwood is in a group of three that is tied for fourth at -7 for the tournament. Westwood shot a 1-under 71 on Saturday, which was his second-straight 71. Westwood had three bogies and four birdies on his day.
Pre-event favorite, Tiger Woods, has 100/1 odds to win as he is tied for 18th at -3 for the tournament. Woods shot a 1-over 73 on Saturday.
