Stricker defends title
Steve Stricker won the 2010 John Deere Classic, taking the title in back-to-back years on Sunday after shooting an impressive 26-under par for the tournament.

Stricker shot just a 1-under 70 on Sunday, but he had a six stroke lead entering the day. Stricker wound up winning the tournament by two strokes over Paul Goydos.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL, Stricker had 15/1 odds to win the event, meaning a $100 bet on Stricker will pay out $1,500.
Stricker’s win this weekend was highlighted by an 11-under 60 on Thursday and a 9-under 62 on Saturday. Stricker’s 54-hole total of 188 was a new PGA event record.
Goydos shot a 12-under 59 on Thursday, but couldn’t keep up with Stricker throughout the rest of the weekend.
Jeff Maggert finished a distant third at -20 for the tournament while Shaun Micheel finished fourth at -19 and Matt Jones was fifth at -17.
