Olympic Men's Soccer Odds
LONDON, England (TheSpread) – One sport that the world will have its attention on during the 2012 Olympics is Men’s Soccer. Here is a look at the odds to win the gold in this event.
According to oddsmakers, Brazil is the favorite to claim gold in this event, as they have odds of +200 to win. Other short odds to win are Spain (+275) and Great Britain (+600).
Surprisingly, Brazil has never won the gold medal in men’s soccer. They finished with the bronze in 2008 and 1996. Brazil has won the World Cup five times, with the last coming in 2002.

Great Britain has the home-field advantage in this tournament, but the country hasn’t won gold in this event since 1912, and also hasn’t medaled in men’s soccer since 1912.
