Morocco vs. Spain Prediction
Spain is through to the round of 16 with a win over Morocco, while a draw or a loss would require help via the other Group B match. Can heavily favored Spain cruise to the victory today and continue its path as a favorite to win the World Cup this year?

Morocco looking to play spoiler
There is no way Morocco can advance in the World Cup, but it can cause chaos in Group B if it can somehow defeat Spain today. Morocco is coming off a 1-0 loss to Portugal last Wednesday as it allowed a goal by superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the fourth minute, which turned out to be the match’s only score. Morocco had 54 percent of the possession and managed 16 shots (four on goal), while holding Portugal to 10 shots (two on goal). Morocco played a physical game with 23 fouls and was handed one yellow card. Additionally, Morocco generated seven corner kicks.
Spain holds off Iran
With a 1-0 win over Iran on Wednesday, Spain put itself in a good position to advance in the World Cup. A win today over Morocco, while a draw with Morocco plus a win by Iran against Portugal would also get Spain through. Even if Spain loses, there is a path through if Portugal loses by more goals than Spain loses by. Diego Costa scored the lone goal against Iran in the 23rd minute in a game where Spain held a whopping 68 percent of the possession. Spain had 17 shots (three on goal), while holding Iran to five shots (none on goal).
Prediction:
Spain is arguably the most talented team in the World Cup. I can’t see it taking this game lightly with so much on the line. Roll with the over as I think Spain puts forth a tremendous offensive effort, while Morocco is good enough to perhaps put a goal on the board.
