Muguruza is coming off a win in the French Open, her first grand slam title victory. She appeared in last year’s Wimbledon finals, her only other grand slam finals appearance.
Kvitova is a two-time Wimbledon champion, last winning in 2014. They are the only grand slam titles she has won in her career. She hasn’t gone past the quarterfinals in 15 of her last 16 grand slam events.
