Wimbledon Men's Odds


LONDON, England (TheSpread) – The most prestigious event in all of tennis, Wimbledon, begins on Monday. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s men’s singles title.

According to oddsmakers, Novak Djokovic is the favorite to win this grand slam event, as he has odds of 5/4 to win. Other short odds to win are Rafael Nadal (9/4), Roger Federer (9/2), and Andy Murray (10/1).

Djokovic has won five grand slam titles in his career, including last year’s Wimbledon. He has won four of the last six grand slam events, including this year’s Australian Open.

Nadal has won 11 grand slam titles in his career. He has also won Wimbledon two times, with the last title coming in 2010. Nadal also reached the finals last year and is coming off a win in the French Open. Nadal has reached the finals of the last five grand slam events.

Federer has won 16 grand slam titles in his career, including six Wimbledon titles. His last Wimbledon championship came in 2009, and he has failed to get past the quarterfinals since.

Murray has never won a grand slam event in his career but is a native of England. Murray has reached the semifinals in five of his last six grand slam events but never gotten to the finals of Wimbledon.
