This race is broken up into a pair of two, 114-lap events. Three drivers are favored to win according to oddsmakers at online sports book Bodog. Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon and Ryan Briscoe each have 4/1 odds to win Saturday’s race.

Franchitti is the lone driver of the three to have not won this event. He has placed in the top 5 in this event the last three times he has competed in it. This year, Franchitti has finished in the top four of four of the five races. His 12th-place finish at Indy 500 was his worst performance in nearly a year.

Briscoe is the defending champion of this race. He has done very well in Texas, finishing in the top 3 of the last three races. This year, Briscoe has struggled, placing in the top 5 in just two races.

Dixon won this event back in 2008. Dixon has also placed in the top 5 in this race in four of the last five years. This year, Dixon also has just two top-5 finishes.
