DXC Technology 600 Predictions
The IndyCar Series holds another race on Saturday night with the running of the DXC Technology 600. Here’s the drivers we like for this race.
The DXC Technology 600 is a race held at Texas Motor Speedway. It is a 372-mile race that will do 248 laps around the track. The race takes place on Saturday at 8PM ET and air on NBCSN. According to oddsmakers, both Alexander Rossi and Will Power are co-favorites, as each has 5/1 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Scott Dixon (11/2) and Josef Newgarden (7/1).
6506 Will Power 5/1
Power is a two-time winner of this event and the defending champion. He won the 2018 Indy 500 to get a big monkey off his back. He followed that up last week with two solid showings at Belle Isle, including a runner-up finish on Sunday. Power is the current points leader in the series with his two wins and two runner-up finishes. I like him to run well again tonight.
6517 Ryan Hunter-Reay 8/1
Hunter-Reay is having a strong 2018 and that was paid off last weekend with a runner-up finish on Saturday and a win on Sunday in Detroit. Hunter-Reay. He has six top-5 finishes this year and three straight. Texas hasn’t been his best track, but he did finish second in 2013. I think Hunter-Reay continues to build on his impressive season with another strong run tonight, if not a win.
6513 Simon Pagenaud 10/1
The former series champ and 2017 runner-up for the championship is having a really quiet start to his 2018. He has yet to crack the top 5 in any race, but still has five top-10 finishes. Needing something to get his season jump-started, Pagenaud comes to Texas, where he finished third a year ago and fourth in 2016. This has been a pretty good track for him over the years and I think he will really push hard, knowing he has to start getting desperate.
